Insolvencies Hit A Record High In 2010


The insolvency has revealed that a record number of people were declared insolvent in 2010 that is as many as 135,089 people in England and Wales.

The figure is up by 0.7% in 2009. It is feared that the figure will only rise when families are hit by the government’s strict new rules.

“Around 140,000 adults will be made bankrupt, or forced into another type of personal insolvency, equal to 385 per day, said accountancy firm RSM Tenon. “
